Is it just me? Or did Dubya think he was performing on Last Comic Standing? Or rather, Blue-friggin-Collar TV?n (btw - I SOOOOOOOO do NOT think BCTV is funny)
OK, Bush called them BRITS. Not the British. Or Great Britain.
Bush flip flopped on his commentary on Kerry's health care reform.

Kerry dodged a few questions.
Bush dodged a few also.

I did appriciate the audience's questions.
I liked Kerry's stem cell response, and his abortion response. Although I wished he had mentioned he personally is against abortion, but supports the woman's individual constitutional right to have one.
I wished there was some way to rebutt Bush about encouraging adoption -- after all, my biggest problem with prolifers is that they are all about the protection while IN the womb, but they don't care to provide for care once they are BORN!! Ok, well, about encouraging adoption - it's all well and good to encourage adoptions for

Edited to add: I was apparently REALLY drunk last night and didn't realize I didn't finish this last night so... to finish my thought:

"It's all well and good to encourage adoptions, but what no one talks about is WHO is a valued adoption. A caucasian baby is much more wanted than any minority baby. Those minority babies are LUCKY is they get adopted as babies, and even more lucky if they get adopted as they get older. Many people who adopt, want to adopt a child who looks like them. (Well, except for Mia Farrow, she'll adopt anything ;)) Anyway, I could wax on about this for quite a while. But, I just wish that side of the issue was addressed."

OH one more thing -- did anyone else see Dubya WINK at that audience member??????????????

-end edit-

(forgive me, I am slightly tipsy, after playing the Debate Drinking Game)

OK, so I still do not understand why the USA cannot elect a democratic prez, based solely on tax reform. 98% of America is middle or lower class. Only 2% of our population is in the upper tax brackets, why can't we elect someone who SAYS they will raise taxes on those upper brackets and lower taxes on the rest of us 98%!! Jesus, we're in the majority!

(over an hour later, I am SUPER drunk after the post debate commentary drinking brige.. I mean... drinking game.)

Ok, I'm too gone to write more now. I can only hold onto my opinions and hope that next time I write, I will be so drunk but not so sober that I can write about my Commie Pinko Meathead philosophies with freedom and abandon.

Goodnight all, may we all one day either die ignorant, or one day live in a completely prosocial atmosphere.
