As you all should know... I am cleaning my parents' basement and it is, to say the least, an ordeal.
Today, I successfully exported more bags of recyclables, and then got to work in the basement to prepare more bags of garbage for exportation on Friday.
I decided today would be laundry day, to sort and clean the 5 or so bags of clothing I found. I am currently running loads of laundry, and 3-4 bags of nasty clothes will be thrown out tomorrow night. I cannot put out garbage too early... because people /will/ rifle through my garbage and rip bags apart and spill it all on the ground. So I am forced to delay until the night before/day of garbage pick up.
Now, some of you haven't seen my basement... I really should have taken "before" pictures, rather than catching it in the middle. But, below the cut I have pictures I took tonight of my current progress. So if you are curious to see what exactly I have been dealing with, look on...
The pictures of the pile on the table and the hallway gauntlet of random inventory... is more like what the ENTIRE basement looked like before I started working on it. You may notice the Apple II manual in one picture, and some really old printers on a table... it really is quite amazing...
