Reinventing myself.
Jun. 25th, 2008 09:39 amI need a catchy phrase for my new Alizah-ness. Any suggestions?
I had my fitness assessment yesterday and I think I may <3 my trainer. I think this is the beginning of a beautiful relationship. I see her later this week to finish up what we didn't do last night and start the actual working out.
I feel very passionate about this, and I hope to keep up this motivation. No longer will I get off the subway at 86th street... it's too easy to go home... if I get out at the 94th street exit of the 96th street station, I HAVE to pass the gym on my way home and I will force myself to make that right turn into the door each day. Even in the dead of winter. I used to skate year round, maybe this tenaciousness will remind me who I used to be and I can like myself more again.
PS -- I'm still not caught up on LJ and have an exam tomorrow... so I am still missing stuff, not ignoring anyone's newest news.
