He never ceases to amaze or appall me.
Oct. 25th, 2006 11:42 amJust watched most of Dubya's news conference.
How can the leader of the United States sprinkle his answers with "ya know"s and "uh"s and joke around when it comes to serious issues?
More so than that...
How could 51% of America find that appealing or not bothersome?
I can barely stomach his stance on anything if only because of his presentation, talking to the reporters in this very "well.... DUH" type way. It's insulting.
I can't help but think... we yell at our children for talking like, you know, like Valley girls, or like um... or slouching, or not dressing up nicely for a visit from Grandma... and here we have a guy who does all of the above - what President in recent times doesn't wear a tie for god's sake! I know it's a really minute detail, but I'd say that President of the USA is THE most professional role one could have.
Ok vent over. For now. Check with me Nov 8th. And then again in 2 years.
(But at least he had the curtosy to get off the air in time to see Daniel Dae Kim on the Megan Mullally Show)
