Alrighty then.
Oct. 26th, 2006 03:20 pmI have a "call back" next week to meet with a supervisor's supervisor :-P
It went well, or at least I feel that it did. I liked the two men that I spoke to, and the interview lasted about 45min, which I suppose is a good thing because if I screwed up it could have been over in 10...? They are looking at a few candidates but want to hire someone by November, so I will meet with them once more next week and then have the decision soon after.

I have to rewind and say a little something about yesterday - funny incident. Early in the afternoon I get a buzz at the door from a guy who wanted access to the roof of the building because he apparently lives next door and couldn't get into his building and wanted to climb over the roof to get in from above.
"I'm sorry I don't have access to the roof."
(in a muffled poor english voice) "It's ok, if you let me in I will find my way across."
Done.
Fast forward to dinner time last night. He buzzes AGAIN. This time, I am on the phone and Jody answers the buzz. The guy gives the same story, and Jody in that very manly way that is mannish and not at all Alizah-ish says "We can't let you in to get to the roof, call a locksmith. And if you call again we'll call the police" OK...those weren't the exact words, but that was the gist. He can comment and correct me :)
THEN we're eating dinner and we hear people talking in the lobbyish area of the building, and I peek outside to see an officer talking to the guy. I don't know who called the police... but someone did.
Super weird. But hey... that is why living in NYC is so colorful, and not colorful in the backwoods Delaware way...
