I just feel I need to update...

The Boy and I had a busy weekend... we started Friday night by going to see the Jets/Eagles game -- WOW. His stepmom is a rabid Eagles fan, so there was some tension before we left the house, but over the weekend we found some common ground - we both hate the Giants :) It was am amazing game, of course, it was mostly played by the second and third strings, but I'm glad we stayed until the end. Jets won 28-27... but the kicker is that they scored 21 points in the last 7 minutes to pull ahead!!

Then we tried to split the weekend between his family, and what remains of mine (my cousins.) We have many engagements over the next few months, so we tried to make some organized plans. I told him that I wanted him to take control of our schedulings, and tell me what we're doing on a weekend rather than it being the other way around. Due to all my summer angst, I had been inadvertently hogging a lot of time, so I want to balance things out. I hope that I get to see more of his world this way too - meet more of his friends, more of his family, and do more things he wants to. Not that I don't want to do them, but I look forward to expanding my horizons.

I finally met his brother, and his brother's wife - I really like them. This is the first boyfriend I have had where I am beginning to feel like it's serious... so serious I am meeting, liking, and more importantly -- feeling comfortable with, his family.

The other part of the weekend was low key, we went apple and raspberry picking with Shellfly and her little Bean, Befers, and a friend of Shellefly's. Mmm... Honey Crisp apples are NUMMY!

Anyway, right now I am just wasting some time before school on LJ and playing Spider Solitaire...
